On Behalf of The Foley Law Firm | October 11, 2016

A study last year by RoadSnacks.net ranked the top ten cities in Colorado considered to be the most dangerous. Using the Uniform Crime Report from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the study looked at the number of violent crimes and property crimes committed in the state. Data from 2013 had a heavier emphasis in the study than other years. Only cities with populations of over 5,000 people were in 2013 were included in the study

So, where did Colorado Springs rank? Surprising, this city, with a population of 436,108, ranked higher overall than Denver did. It ranked 11th for property crime, sixth for violent crime and seventh overall. Denver, with a population of 648,981, ranked eighth overall, but second in violent crime. What city ranked number one overall as the most violent city in Colorado? Pueblo, with a population of 108,062, did.
