The Colorado Springs Police Department Impact Team spent the last month investigating reports of motor vehicle theft, burglary of a motor vehicle, joyrides, crashes and more. Four arrests were recently made, and all four individuals were juveniles.

According to police, some of the juveniles were listed as runaways when the crimes were allegedly committed. Others reportedly have warrants for their arrests in other counties.

Three vehicles have been located and recovered by the CSPD Impact Team. In addition, some of the juveniles have allegedly been tied to firearms.

The juveniles were located in the Banning Lewis Ranch neighborhood. Police said the juveniles also victimized other people after they allegedly left the scene of accidents they were involved in with the stolen vehicles. The investigation is ongoing, and there is no word yet on whether the juveniles will be certified to adult court.
